Vanessa Salgado, MHA – Administrator
I started my career in the U.S. Navy as a Hospital Corpsman-Surgical Technician gaining direct patient care experience. Going back to school I pursued my degree in health administration because I believed that patient care began in the background and I wanted to be a part of the team that ensured patients were getting the highest quality of care they needed and deserved.
As the administrator of Home Care Assistance, it is my duty to coordinate the day to day operations by overseeing all service components – planning, organizing, directing and evaluating operations to ensure the provision of the highest level of our care services.
I am married for 19 years with two children. I have a daughter who is attending Miami-Dade College with career plans of being a nurse anesthetist by transferring to a University of choice. My son is in high school with plans on joining the U.S. Air Force to be a pilot. My husband continues to serve in the United States Navy. As someone who cherishes family, it’s my goal to ensure that all of our elderly clients and their families feel the warmth and compassion that is so vital to delivering exceptional care.
